ABOUT COMMITTEE
Watergate. Vietnam. Cold War. A dead Martin Luther King Jr. A fraudulent President. The doom of America seemed imminent. The world’s greatest superpower was at the brink of collapse. America had lost trust in politicians. Communism was on the rise. New political ideologies seeped through the chaotic downfall of the mighty. All who were suppressed demanded for freedom. There needed to be a deterrent. An unstoppable force to this immovable object.
Uninhibited chaos and the foresight of demolition in this time of desperation gave prominence to a certain people’s man- Senator Frank Church. This man of the people, with a vow to restore America’s glory, set on an insurmountable task. Accountability.
Accountability of the crux of U.S. operations. To investigate the intelligence agencies of America, and expose them to the people. The epicenter of control over what America did and how it affected the world was now under scrutiny.
CIA. FBI. NSA. IRS. Each hunted for their dignity. Dog eat dog. Each battling gruesomely for their own survival. The war between Frank Church and America’s intelligence, and another: a secret civil war on the verge of ensuing behind the facade of a developing America. A war within America’s intelligence. A war between America and America.
Biological warfare programs: Exposed. MKULTRA. Mind Control. Hypnosis. Chemical testing on human subjects.
Unwarranted surveillance programs: Exposed. COINTELPRO. Operation CHAOS. Suppressing protests. Shunning the needs of the American people.

To the delegates that aspire to grace themselves with this committee’s presence,
We demand of you- The Strive to Win. A temperament that persists and does not dwindle.
Sheer Impeccability. The path to excellence shall be made brisk when every element of your brilliant minds relays a sense of exactitude in every aspect that this committee requires of you.
Frank Church’s Intelligence Committee is meld in a way to truly process and let you
exemplify your ‘intelligence’; no, not how fast your brain works, but rather how differently it
works from the rest, how well you can alter it in order to effectively let your true ability be
exonerated.
Perseverance, Persistence, Prevalence. The one who is able to persevere such that they flawlessly persist through every single obstacle shall be the one who prevails.
Expect no less from yourself than the ability to masterfully create impact with your speeches enshrined with marvellous content and blissful oration, aided by an astute quality for crafting unparalleled paperwork, all while you maintain a strong hold over the rest of the committee. In a true and twisted fashion, your constant crisis handling shall act as the pinnacle of your success here.
Rakshit Kapoor is known for his nonchalant gimmick. He has proven time and again that MUN isn’t won by flashy tactics but by sheer dominance in speeches. Rakshit always strives for more- even Best Delegate was not enough for him, so he just won something better- just ask him about it.
Chaos is a ladder and Rakshit is certainly on top of it. While most people align with a style of debate, Rakshit prefers to tackle every committee thrown his way, from crisis cabinets to lawmaking commissions, most often modifying the committee to how he likes it.
Rakshit is a Queen fan who claims that 'rap is not real music’ (He definitely listens to Kanye West more).
Rakshit is the chairperson you didn't know you wanted—but definitely needed.
Abhinav is a remarkable individual who defies expectations at every turn. Though he may be short in stature, his intellect towers above most, earning him the reputation of a true genius, particularly in the realms of mathematics and physics. His ability to unravel complex problems with ease and clarity is nothing short of extraordinary. But Abhinav isn’t just a thinker—he’s also a master of words. With his sharp rhetoric and persuasive public speaking skills, he can captivate an audience, making even the most intricate concepts accessible and engaging. When he’s not immersed in equations or delivering compelling speeches, you might find him on the tennis court, where his strategic mind and quick reflexes make him a formidable opponent. Abhinav is a living testament to the idea that greatness comes in all sizes.
